If I am an approved provider, your insurance policy covers outpatient mental health counseling and you have obtained any needed approvals,
I cannot balance bill you after the insurance company pays their part and you have paid yours.
Cancellation Policy
You will be required to pay the full cost of the session (not insurance rate) if you do not keep your scheduled appointment and have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance.

As a courtesy, I will file your insurance for you. However, you are ultimately responsible for the fees incurred and meeting your insurance's requirements.
It is important that you verify
your benefits and/or obtain a
pre-authorization if required
BEFORE our first visit.
Out of Network
You may have benefits that will cover out of network services, usually at a somewhat reduced percentage. In that case, I can often file the claim for you or I am happy to give you a receipt so that you can file for reimbursement.
Many insurance plans and EAPs require pre-authorization or a referral - check before our first appointment. If you are unsure, discuss it with me so that we can follow the procedures outlined by your insurance company.
Insurance policies dictate that session length ranges from 36-45 minutes. Sometimes, 53-60 minute sessions can be reimbursed.
